"Every time I watch the UCARs race."

(Webmaster's Note:  I probably picked a bad time to do this interview. Hank, the night before, had gotten into a wreck that wasn't Hank's fault. He had been running very well this year and was looking forward to having success. It was a very hard wreck that probably knocked him out for a while, so he was disgusted.)

 • Why did you choose your car number (32)?

"That was my football number in high school."

 • What is your all-time favorite racecar?

"The car I have been driving this year (Jeff Brooks' Chevrolet Lumina).

 • What lesson have you learned because of racing?

"It seems that you sometimes have to cheat to be competitive."

 • What did you first think about your other half racing?

"We couldn't afford it. I was scared for him to race."

 • What is your favorite racing memory or moment?

"When Hank thought Charles had spun him around (it was actually [#3]) and he hit Charles back."

 • What is your funniest memory or moment?

"When ever the drivers get mad at each other. I just wait for them to fight."

 • What is your scariest memory or moment?

"Brad and Travis' wreck last year (2005)."

 • What is the maddest that you have ever been watching them race?

"One race last year (2005), we were really cheering on one of the family. The track announcer told us to calm down or we would be thrown out."
